TOPIC : WISDOM AND HER CHILDREN
Scripture :Luke 7: 35. But wisdom is justified of all her children.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! It has been confirmed that anywhere there is wisdom, the results are always obvious! This is why the scripture says wisdom is justified by her children!
Does wisdom have children?
Yes! What do we mean by the children of wisdom?
We simply mean the results or the consequences that follow wisdom when deployed or rejected!
What are the children of wisdom?
1. Long life (Prov. 3:16): Our world is full of men and women who are dying young because of lack of wisdom!
Long life is what God proposed for you but it can be cut short if you reject wisdom.
2 Samuel 3: 33. And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Abner died as a fool dieth?
In other words Abner why did you die like a fool? It is only a man that is void of wisdom that will see death and still permit it.
Today, men are still towing the path that leads to death daily like Abner of old.
The following are actions that display lack of wisdom and will cut short anyone’s life;
a. Sexual immorality:
*Proverbs 2: 10. When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; 16.
To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words; death, and her paths unto the dead.
Proverbs 6: 32. But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
It will amaze you the number of believers who are swimming in the ocean of sexual sin daily without knowing the consequences!
If only many are aware that there is sexually transmitted demons(STD) besides sexually transmitted infection and diseases, they would have advised themselves.
Both married and unmarried alike, the demons have no regards for you when you show lack of wisdom.
To the married, after contacting such demons they take them home to sleep with their wives and also infect them with the same demons, before you know it, an atmosphere of hatred, unnecessary quarrel builds up in the home.
The love in the marriage dies off and the marriage collapses in the long run!
To the single, they end up living promiscuous lives, they will find sex partners easily but to settle down and be married is a problem!
The worst of it all is death!
Many have died spiritually and even physically because of romancing with the sin of immorality! If you are involved then it shows lack of wisdom!
The era we are in now, it is only wisdom that can deliver you from strange women, as well as strange men! They will come softly as a friend, as a colleague, as a church member, as a caring person etc. Before long you have fallen to their tricks.
b. Anger:
Ecclesiastes 7: 9. Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.
Many people celebrate their anger and pride themselves in it! But listen to me child of God, you cannot be wise and display anger!
Infact to be angry is to show your lack of wisdom! If only many are aware that when you are angry you have sent invitation to demons, they would have controlled their anger!
It is just like this, when particles of sugar drop on the floor or table, you will see ants from no where coming for the sugar! Who invited the ants?
Because there is an instinct in ants that can sense the presence of sugar!
So also, demons can sense anger anywhere, because they are always on patrol, if you open up your spirit through anger, they will take advantage of you :
Ephesians 4: 26. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: 27. Neither give place to the devil.
So next time, you are trying to be angry, control yourself because the devil is looking for your unguarded hour!
Beloved, do you desire long life, seek wisdom! To hate wisdom is to cut your life short because wisdom is justified by her children!
How do you seek wisdom?
Come to Jesus Christ the fountain of wisdom! Surrender to Jesus today!
1 Corinthians 1: 24. But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
