TOPIC : WATCH AND PRAY CONCERNING YOUR DREAMS
SCRIPTURE :Mark 13: 33. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter with the word. Jesus taught us to watch and pray!
So during fasting and prayer usually your spirit is prepared to receive and one of the channel is via dream. We understand the primary way God speaks to us as believers is through the Bible!
Does that mean God doesn’t speak through any other means? Yes He does! I personally have observed on several occasions, that our God is a multidimensional God in His approach of passing information to His children!
Sometimes it could be by a sign, and sometimes it could be by an inner voice /witness, a flash across your mind or by opening your eyes to see something. And it could be by dreams. This is why our focus today is to watch out and pray concerning our dreams.
Why do we need to watch out on our dreams?
1. Dreams are a vehicles of passing information(Gen.41:1-8)! Many times when you engaged in serious prayers that is when you usually have some dream attack just to discourage you from praying.
Imagine a young man engaging in serious fasting and prayer; and that is when Satan is bringing immoral dream of sexual affairs to him! In some cases it is feeding in the dream, the more you fast and pray the more they try to feed you in the dream! All these are effort from the pit of hell to discourage you from continuing in fasting and prayer.
Beloved, are you already discouraged because of what you are seeing in the dream?
I’m here to encourage you today, don’t be discouraged. All the opposite reactions from your dream is an indication your prayers is hitting hard on them, so don’t give up in prayer and fasting.
2. Your security intelligence could come from the dream: That was the case of baby Jesus! His earthly father being Joseph received an instructions via the dream (Matt.2:13).
Beloved, too many times God has shown you in a dream what is about happening to you, yet you ignore it because you were not watching your dreams so as to take necessary action.
There are accident to avert if we watch carefully on our dreams. You want to embark on a journey and you dreamt about what is going to happen yet you ignore it. Don’t abort the purpose of dreams given to you, watch and pray.
3. Dreams are medium through which we receive ideas as believers;
Genesis 31: 10. And it came to pass at the time that the cattle conceived, that I lifted up mine eyes, and saw in a dream, and, behold, the rams which leaped upon the cattle were ringstraked, speckled, and grisled.
It was Rev. Sam Adeyemi I heard saying “ideas rule the world ” ! Frankly speaking, the ideas that you need to rise and reign in your own world must be deliver to you personally. The onus therefore lies on you to know how it will come. In the case of Jacob it came by dream.
Jacob received an idea from God that enable him to recover 20years of cheating on him through the dream. I love Jacob because he received the idea and went into action straight away.
As soon as he woke up from that dream, he took steps and carried out what he saw in the dream, the result was alarming because the man who had been using him and cheating him was amazed at what he saw.
What the Holy Ghost wants us to know today is to watch and over our dreams because many times, God may be passing a destiny changing instruction to you.
The idea you need to jump out of that financial predicament could just be one dream away from you. The ideas you need to turn your story around could just be very close to you now! So, don’t joke with your dreams especially during fasting period.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real! Eternity lies ahead every man, get prepared for it today.

– Father thank you for your word to me today, I receive grace to watch and pray on my dreams
– Lord help me to take necessary actions as you will be supplying me answers to my questions via dreams in Jesus name.
Prophetic Declaration:
– I prophesy the release of fresh ideas that will enable you to rule your world in the name of Jesus.
– The idea that will cause you to recover all your wasted years is being released now.
-The ideas that will bail you out of financial embarrassment this year is coming your way today.
