JEALOUSY AND ENVY IS A SIGN THAT YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND LOVE.
WHEN YOU ARE TRULY IN LOVE, YOU BECOME SUPERNATURALLY CONNECTED TO DIVINITY.

LIVING THE LIFE OF GOD; subtopic: ‘Walking In Love’. 1 John 4:8. God is not prayers, God is not fasting, God is not signs and wonders but God is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13. Charity is love.
In the New Testament, the word ‘charity’ is also love. He said for all virtues, love is the greatest, it is greater than faith and hope. Nothing you do will profit you in the Kingdom of God without love. Love is the greatest of all spiritual virtues.
Love is God’s nature and it is a spiritual connectivity to Him. It is what connects you to God because that is His nature because two cannot walk together except they are agreed. Amos 3:3. God’s nature is what? Love.
So to walk in love, you are walking in God. 1 Corinthians 2:9. When you are truly in love, you become supernaturally connected to divinity.
What is love in this context?
What is love? Because many of us don’t know what love is. I’m sure before you even came to Church, you said to somebody: ‘I love you’. True? Okay! Many of us don’t know what love is. How many are married?
How many want to marry? I’m sure, nobody is a gay here. Now, I’m gonna show you in this Second Service those of us who are married and those who want to get married what love is.
Most times what we call love is not love. Are you getting what I’m saying? In the process I will show it to you, glory to God. What is love in this context?
1. It is to put God first.
Matthew 22:37-39. If you say you love then you must put God first.
Declarations: I’ll put God first in all my affairs.
2. It is to make His Kingdom a priority.
Matthew 6:33. ‘Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and every other things shall be added unto you’.
What Jesus meant was for you to seek first the advancement, expansion and promotion of the Kingdom of God in righteousness without faking it.
That’s what it means to love God then things the world is dying for shall be added unto you.
How can I know I’m putting God first?
a. Be a soul winner
If you are not a soul winner you are not putting God first. 2 Peter 3:9. Luke 14:26-27. Come to the point where you place God and what He loves above all else including self. God loves soul winning.
3. Love people.
One of the proofs of love is to love people. Matthew 22:37-39. Mark 12:30-31. I’m going to read; these are the proofs of somebody who loves. Every married person listen to this part I’m going to read now and take them one after the other. Even if you are not married, this Scripture is for you as a child of God.
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (AMP). If you say you love, you will be patient with the person. Anybody you are not patient with, you don’t love the person. Love is kind and thoughtful, take note.
Every love, you will be kind to the person, you will think of the person, you will not think of yourself alone. It (Love) is not jealous. Do you know there are people who are jealous of others, even husband and wife? You will never be jealous, you will never be envious!
Jealousy is a sign that you don’t understand love, envy is a sign that you don’t understand love. Love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. 1 Corinthians 13:3 (AMP).
Every man you see who talks big does not understand love. If you see some people in Church the way even em dey move, the pride is overflowing. You see it!
They are so arrogant, they are so proud because they don’t understand what? Love. There are people they would never relate with, they say: ‘That guy, he doesn’t belong to my class’. Which class do you belong to?
God came down from Heaven to your own level, you, you can’t come down to people’s level. He will say: ‘Why do you like joking with all these boys’. Who? ‘No!!! Don’t joke with them, you should maintain your class’. Class what? Jesus came from Heaven to your level, you now, small appointment they give you, you say: ‘I don’t like talking to all these boys in the Church, I won’t even belong to that Service group because of the kind of people there’. Who are you? What do you have? You don’t understand what? Love.
1 Corinthians 13:5 (AMP). It is not rude, did you hear that? It is not self-seeking. Take note! You are always thinking of yourself because you don’t love. Every small thing you are angry, you don’t love.
Every small thing, you are angry! People will always wrong you, ‘You did this the last time’, you don’t understand love. I don’t have syllabus for previous records. 1 Corinthians 13:6 (AMP). Did you see the qualities? When they deal with somebody you don’t keep quiet. I Corinthians 13:7 (AMP).
There is no faultless person, so you will look at the strength of the person, you don’t look at the weakness of the person because everybody has something. If he is good in dressing your bed, he is not good in preparing food. Look at the good part of the dressing bed and then help the person in preparing food. Don’t say: ‘No’!
The only weakness is what you see, the other good quality should overshadow the other weakness. Are you getting what I’m talking about? He’s good in washing but he’s not good in bathing, help him.
If a woman leaves her husband when he’s passing through a challenge, she never loved him. And many women leave their husbands when there is small challenge and some men too leave their wives when there is small challenge.
Do you know many men divorce their wives once the woman has small health challenge? 1 Corinthians 13:7 (AMP). He lost a job one year, the whole world has known that your husband lost job, everywhere you go, ‘The man yeye oo, yeye man, I’m the one providing for the children.
I am the one paying the school fees’. When he was paying the school fees did anybody hear? Only one year he has not been able, you have announced to your neighbours, you have announced to your father, you have announced to your mother. ‘He knows that I’m the one feeding the house’. I pity men too who depend on women’s money. If a woman gives you food one day, the whole country will hear. ‘I’m the one feeding him, useless man’.
