TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING FAVOUR – THE BELIEVERS ADVANTAGE (PART2)
Scripture: Exodus 3: 21. And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter!
Yesterday, we established that favour is a grace given by God! It can be merited when one possess good understanding of a matter (Prov.13:15)!
It can as well be unmerited as seen in case of our salvation (Eph.2:8). You don’t ignore God in your pursuit of favour because He is the source of it.
Now arise the question why does God give favour? Did God give favour to fuel our lust? Or is God encouraging laziness by given favour.
Today our focus is to answer the above questions.
Why is God giving favour to His children?
Our journey on earth is full of challenges, hence God has to introduce favour for the following reasons:
1. God give favour because it is the technology of time redemption: There’s no better way to redeem wasted time than the technology of favour.
A classical example is the the story of the children of Israel. The book of Exodus had the account that the people of God had already spent 400years in the land of Egypt, a land of captivity.
Within these 400years period they serve as slave to the Egyptians. When it was now time for them to come out, God placed something on them called favour.
God knew the only way to redeem wasted years was through this mystery garment called favour. Hence He said:
Exodus 3: 21. And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:
Beloved, the same way many of us have wasted our lives serving the devil, living in a world of wickedness.
Some of us have lived outside the program of God many years before meeting with the Jesus!
There is no way to remedy the wasted years except by favour. Listen to me child of God, the current version of you now is not the original plan, there is a better version of your person that is far ahead of you! You will need favour to catch up with whom you were supposed to be in life.
The Bible said:
Joel 2: 25. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
Observed here that our God specializes in restoration of lost years! And one way of restoring your years is by favour ! I don’t know how old are you now and you feel that time has gone. Yes in man’s world age may have gone but I have a good news for you that our God has a way of recouping your lost time.
What you should have achieved this many years that you couldn’t achieve is still possible. God has a technology of rewinding back what you must have lost. So stop being worried because God had it factor out.
Beloved, I don’t know what you must have lost? There are so many of us who did not repent on time, if God should allow you to learn about Him before blessing you, it might become too late, hence God has to introduce this advantage called favour! As soon as it lands on your life, it becomes a life that is irresistible to acceptance!
One who was once rejected suddenly becomes the acceptable person. You that nobody wants to give to before, becomes someone whom everybody wants to give to.
Favour makes it look as if there is divine partiality as you become the preferred candidate in everything you do. Whatever you may have lost in the past, be rest assured that when favour lands on your life, you shall recover all in the name of Jesus.
Please note that Satan also has a counterfeit of favour that works through charms! This could exist as a perfume, a ring or a powder. When it is use it has a way of acting like favour whereas it is not, because the only giver of favour is God.
The people of the world knows this and that’s why when your life starts producing this dazzling results, the next question that they will ask you is where did you go?
The reason for such question is the belief that some powerful herbalist must have concurted charms for you that is producing the unsual loyalty of men, acceptance and opportunities.
Child of God, if you ever go to the devil to collect anything in the name of getting favour, you are mortgaging your destiny and enslaving your unborn generation. Besides, that which the devil gives that is termed favour is never favour but spell. It will only hold its victim spellbound until a certain period and then it will expire.
In some cases if the victim encountered the power of God he/ she could be set free and reality will done on him/her. So run from satanic enslavement in the name of favour ring, favour perfume or favour powder.
Remember this : Heaven is real and hell is real. Don’t gamble with your eternal destiny. Settle it now by surrendering and living your life for Jesus.
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Lord, I open up my heart to this this believer’s advantage called favour. Decorate me Lord with the garment of favour in the name of Jesus.
Prophetic Declaration;
– I prophesy whatever you might have lost in the time past is recovered back now in the name of Jesus.
– By, the force of favour, I bring back your lost glory in the name of Jesus.
Assignment: Ask the Lord to baptized you with this grace called favour.
