TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING MAN’S RELEVANCE IN GOD’S PROGRAM
Scripture: Psalm 8: 4. What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! In continuation of what we started yesterday, we did established that the earth has been given to man and the reason for such is because of man’s relevance in God’s programme.
How relevant is man in God’s programme on earth?
Man is so relevant in God’s agenda on earth for the following reasons.:
1. For sharing the gospel message: No angel is given the privilege of sharing the good news. So every man must take it as a matter of duty to win the lost around him/her.
Beloved, you are here on earth as a witness, your life and result around you is a witness to truth that Jesus is real, loving and caring for a dying world. Don’t allow any devil to makes you down play your relevance!
The message of salvation which no angel could present was given to you. If the angel could do that, God wouldn’t have sent an angel to Cornelius instructing him to send for Peter:
Acts 10: 3. He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 5. And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
In obedienct to the instruction of the angel, Peter moved straight to Cornelius house. On arrival of Peter to Cornelius house marks the beginning of the Gentiles recieving salvation.
Peter preached, they got saved and were also filled with the Holy Spirit
Acts 10: 44. While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word. 45. And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
They were also baptized in water(Acts 10:47-48)! All these were things angel could not do, angel could not have baptized any one in water or get anyone filled with the Holy Spirit.
These are exclusively reserve for man. Man is the only one with the license to be a witness, one authorized to make the gospel of salvation know around the world.
Beloved, don’t think the unsaved souls around you does not concerned you. You are on earth for this reason, to get soul saved and prepare them for eternity. Even when you get married and raised a family, you are meant to preach salvation to your immediate family and ensure they are saved.
How do you preach salvation?
By your conduct and your word!
Don’t preach with your words while your life is saying another thing!
That is hypocrisy!
This is why you must be saved before you can save others because you can only give what you have! Are you really saved or you are pretending it?
If you are not saved, you can’t give salvation to your children because you can only give what you have. Always let your words matches with your life.
2. For exercising authority by Stopping the recklessness of the devil on earth: God will not stop the recklessness of the devil if man that He has given the authority to do so failed! That’s why you must be prayerful so that you can exercise your Dominion mandate.
3. Man is so relevant in God’s program because they are the instruments of answers to prayer: It will interest you to know that when you God wants to answer your prayers He sends men!
Although there are occasion He will send angel, but this angel must also appear as a man otherwise the message will not be received. The unfortunate incident is that many times we have turned down answers to our prayers because the sent person was not received.
Yes many have regretted their actions of sending away answers to their prayers because it comes through a man they never liked. We must be very careful not to be the hindrance to ourselves because we could send away the answers to our prayers without knowing as we sent away God sent men.
Moses was an answer to the prayer of the people of God for 400years;
Exodus 3: 7. And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; 10. Come now therefore, and I will send thee unto Pharaoh, that thou mayest bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.
Until there was a man called Moses, the people of God will keep on crying. But when Moses show up answers to prayer shows up. Just imagine if Moses never showed up?
Likewise in your own life, it is possible that there is no man like Moses to bring the answers to your prayers or men sent by God delayed or disobey God that is the reason for the delayed in answering your prayers. But I have a good news for you, every one with the answers to your prayers will not rest until they bring it in the name of Jesus.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real. The decision to spend eternity with God begins now. Give your heart to Jesus today.
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Lord I receive grace to be a soul winner and never to drive away men that should have served as answers to my prayers in Jesus name.
Prophetic Declaration:
– I prophesy the man you need to change level be sent your way this season in the name of Jesus.
– May you recives the heart to discern the man God has sent into your life for a change of story in the name of Jesus.
Assignment: Check around your life to see if you are driving away God’s sent man that carries the answers to your prayers.
