IT IS NOT YOUR BUSINESS TO TEACH THE CHURCH HOW TO USE RESOURCES!
Daniel Breakforth
A few days ago, social media went agog over the news that Davido, a secular artiste just unveiled his new diamond chain; the chain which is said to be one of the most expensive chains in the world cost a whopping N150m which is somewhere around $150,000.
Several people including Christians by name and by mouth hailed him as the ‘Odogwu’ with others boasting that a certain ‘Wizkid’ has spent more (about £300,000-N300m+) on his own neck chain and was thus the ‘bigger Odogwu’. I observed that no single person advised these young men on how their money should be spent. Believe me, they have the right to spend their money anyhow they want and I sincerely have no problem with Davido and Wizkid.
However, herein is my challenge…A few days later, the news of the Deeper Life International Conference Auditorium got to the press as Deeper Life Bible Church clocked 50 and all of a sudden, social media critics like their mentor ‘Judas Iscariot’ got upset and remembered ‘the poor’.
This brought to my mind a story told by Bishop David Oyedepo in January this year. In his words, “I was in Canada years ago and then a friend of mine at the evening time, he had no meeting that day! So we were in the hotel area and then we saw the show glass stuff in the hotel! There was one ring there, it was two hundred and ten thousand Canadian dollars (about N122 million today)! So he asked me and said, ‘Do you like it? I said, ‘Never! God forbid bad thing!
That (money) will build two Churches!
The point is these so called church critics aka factory beggars have no interest in the poor. They are just saddists who always enjoy negative talk about the Church-The Pillar and Ground of truth.
They suddenly forget that covetousness whether for factory begging or for giving the so called poor is considered a sin in both the old and New Testament.
If you are already upset about the few lines you have read, please I have bad news for you!
The Church has not started.
Very soon you critic will run to the Church like was done to Joseph in Egypt and scream-Buy Us!
God’s plan is for the gospel to go round the world as the darkness gets deeper.
Resources are needed to spread the gospel so you can either join the move of God or become a casualty.
He said-My Cities through prosperity shall be spread abroad.
You haven’t seen nothing yet!
Key Points!
Do not budget another man’s resources!
If you love the poor so much, tell the government that removed fuel subsidy to use part of the N617 per litre fuel you have been buying to build factories.
If you love the poor so much, sell your phone and give the money to them.
If you need a factory for the poor, sell all your family property and buy land then donate to your government to build factory for these poor.
Only a covetous self entitled criminal (Judas Iscariot Junior) sits down to calculate how to spend resources that do not belong to you.
You can do nothing against the truth but for the truth.
Please Note:
This post is only for the community of believers on this group. But if you are a factory beggar or anti-Church critic and you expose yourself, this will be your last comment. Once you comment, you are gone from here-In Jesus name!
