REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD ORDAINS 1896 FULL PASTORS AND 76 HONORARY ELDERS
ORDAINED FULL PASTORS IN RCCG ARE EQUAL TO THE GENERAL OVERSEER
IN THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD THE HIGHEST OFFICE IS THAT OF A PASTOR
Candidates for the 2023 annual ordination exercise of the Redeemed Christian Church of God Nigeria today, Sunday 13th August, 2023 were ordained.
There were 1896 candidates ordained to the office of full pastors and 76 candidates ordained to the office of Honorary Elders in the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
According to Pastor Adeboye: “In the Redeemed Christian Church of God the highest office is that of a pastor. The General Overseer himself is a pastor so those ordained as full pastors today become equal to the General Overseer.
Their position is very important and the process of ordination is the last opportunity that they have to take anything from the General Overseer that they want for themselves.”
The ordination into full pastors office is done by anointing with oil, the laying on of hands, proclamation and prayer.
