TOPIC: PRAYER – KEY THAT CAN PROVOKES FAVOUR
Scripture: Psalm 106: 4. Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! We are still on the series provoking favour! And today, we shall be considering the key of Prayer!
What are the keys that can provoke favour?
1. Wisdom of speech making
2. Honour to God, men and principles
3. Integrity/uprightness
4. Value creation/dispensing
5. Relationships

7. Prayer:
Prayer is a special key that can provokes favour because it can start the process, keep it on going and also break the yokes of disfavour. Prayer is a key to adopt when you want to free yourself from certain yokes that the enemies place on you.
Prayer is what to do when you don’t know what to do. It is a call of your spirit to the father of all spirit demanding for favour. If things are not working the way it should work call upon God for a change! David understood this secret and cried out to God:
Psalm 119: 58. I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
Please observed the clause “with my whole heart”! So this is not the kind of prayer to pray and be absent minded, the totality of your being must be involved. And because David prayed, it was on record that he received favour:
Acts 7: 46. Who found favour before God, and desired to find a tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
This is because everyone that asks, receives (Matt.7:7-8)! Beloved, favour can be intreated- that is prayed for! When you see your life going on and on running without favour, don’t keep quiet, open your mouth and pray for favour! Don’t wish things will turn by itself with time! Rather, pray because time never changes anything, if things must change it is what men do with time that will make it change. So do you desire a change in any area of your life, then pray insteadof complaining. It is the favour on you that will translate to your business. So if you don’t carry favour, don’t expect your business to do differently.
It is in prayer we are given the privilege to say something about our issues, that thing that is a concern to you, you don’t close your mouth and watch it. What you don’t want you don’t watch.
This is why our anchor scripture says:
Psalm 106: 4. Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation;
It is a painful thing to be in the midst of plenty while you are dying in penury! How can you be in the midst of favoured people yet your life is dry of favour? People are sharing testimonies of God’s blessings left and right and you seems to be left out. Tell God to remember you! He is not a partial God, He will certainly hearken to your voice.
It is in prayer, we express our helplessness to God! That is why a closed mouth is a closed destiny. Moses understood this secret and he prayed earnestly for God to favour Naphtali:
*Deuteronomy 33: 23. And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.*
Beloved, don’t continue life without favour! Life is hard without favour. Every testimony of success you have ever heard is a product of favour. Every miracle marriage you have ever seen is a function of favour. Imagine Abigail getting married to her second husband(1Sam. 25:23-42) when there were single ladies out there trusting God for the first! It is because she understood the keys to favour and operated it to her own advantage.
She walked in honour and honour is a key to favour. There are those who know what to do to provoke favour but refuse to do anything. If what you know is not applied, it will not produce results in your life. So ensure, the keys you have been learning about favour are appropriately utilized to deliver the results the Bible talks about because good understanding brings favour (Prov.13:15).
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real! It is time to settle down with God and stop gambling with your eternal soul. If you are yet to give your heart to Jesus do it today

– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Lord I receive grace to pray my way into favour in the name of Jesus.
*Prophetic Declaration:*
– I prophesy the release of favour that God has in stock for His children be released upon you today in the name of Jesus.
– I declare that favour that is termed divine partiality be your portion this week in the name of Jesus.
