EQUIPMENT THAT MAKE IT EASY FOR KINGDOM ASSIGNMENTS TO BE CARRIED OUT IN A TIMELY MANNER ARE NO LUXURIES AT ALL: OUR CHALLENGING FLIGHT EXPERIENCE FROM NEW YORK TO PARIS TO ACCRA TO ABUJA IN ONE DAY
THE MIRACLE OF KEEPING AMERICANS IN ONE PLACE FOR 7 HOURS (IN CHURCH) IS EQUIVALENT TO THE MIRACLE OF RAISING THE DEAD
– Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche
I will like to bring greetings to everyone of us here from the program in the United States of America. I want to let you know that we are happy to be home and to let you know that love for God and love for you has made us to be available in this service this morning.
Otherwise, the program and all the things that went with it couldn’t have made it possible.
I think, once in a while, it’s good to have a little story of how things go. Arrangement to go private this time around didn’t work out as smooth as it should, for one or two reasons, so we flew generally.
Arrived in Chicago, it was powerful, we had a meeting in Bill Winston’s Church, explosive, great meeting. Bishop Tudor Bismark ministered first, then Reverend Jesse Duplantis ministered and then, I ministered the third. Incredible meeting. If you didn’t hear that message, go ahead and listen to it – Faith to live in the Fourth Dimension. From there, we went to the New York program. Internally, someone arranged for a flight from Chicago to New York. New York was an absolute blast, it was incredible.
Because of flying back on Friday and being in Church today, we decided to have an extended morning session on Friday, so it became 6 hours in God’s presence.
The 6 hours eventually became 7 hours in God’s presence. A Pastor who came from Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh, he said, “you kept Americans in one place for 7 hours without food?” Because the normal thing is that there should be food, tea, “you kept Americans in one place for 7 hours without food?
That miracle is equivalent to raising the dead”. That is the truth, after 1-2hours, service is over, anything in-between that, tea has to be served or something.
From there, we really didn’t have much time anymore, we went straight to the airport.
Arriving at the airport, we checked in amidst certain unpleasant confrontations here and there. The flight was delayed for one hour. We were meant to go to Paris in France and do a connecting flight from Paris to Abuja through Chad.
But, on arrival in Charles De Gaulle airport in Paris, one hour delay in New York, we went straight to the boarding gate, where we were meant to board and they said the gate is closed. We didn’t branch anywhere, we went straight to the gate.
She (Dr Mrs Enenche) explained to the lady who was at the counter, “this is a connecting flight, it’s not our fault, we just came according to the schedule and if there’s a delay of the other flight and this one also is delayed to accommodate for those who are coming to do connecting flight”.
She said, “no, the place is closed. The Pilot said that he has to fly now to be able to land in a certain place on time”.
Now, the aircraft was still on ground, they haven’t left.
Now, they are going to offload our luggage before they leave. “The time you need to offload the luggage, that time, we can go”, she said, “no, the flight is already this and that”. Long story made short, they disembarked the luggage and the flight took off and said we should go to the counter to be able to see how to reschedule the next flight.
We went to the counter, “which flight is the next flight?” They said, “there’s none today”. “Anyone going to Lagos or Abuja?” “No”. “When is the next flight?” “3 days time”.
That is, I was in Paris yesterday, we were to remain for 3 days, that is, I’m not meant to be in this service. I knew there were some demonic reactions because some devils suffered casualty just now.
I am saying all of this so that some of us can understand that the things that make for ease in terms of assignments, equipment’s that make it easy for assignments to be carried out timely are no luxuries at all.
There we stood and remained there for I don’t know how long. “What will you do?” We don’t know what to do. “Will you go to Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire?” That that’s the next flight going, we should go there. “To go and do what? We are not going”. Long story made short, we now asked if there’s flight to Ghana. She said let her check, “where in Ghana?” Dr Mrs Enenche said, “anywhere, so that we can be at home on Sunday morning“. So, they said they can find Accra, Ghana.
I mean, after this hectic program that we just left, you’re now hassling this kind of matter. By that time, we had already started making calls here and there, “is there any flight that can carry us? Whether it’s charter or anything. We have to be in Abuja today, we have to be in Church tomorrow”. They booked us to Ghana flight, to check out, we have to check out of the place and go out through security and return back through security to another gate to go and board for Ghana.
So, we are now on Ghana flight, meanwhile, Ghana was not our plan. So, we called people in Ghana, “we are on our way coming, just receive us. We are just going to pass through Ghana”. That was how we went through Ghana. Of course, when we landed in Ghana, it’s not possible to get any commercial flight, a chartered flight came from Nigeria to pick us back to Abuja. We arrived after 11 in the night yesterday, got into Church to pray maybe after 12, to just pray and thank God for the trip.
It was when we now arrived at the airport that they were telling us that, from the schedule, the Paris flight that was meant to carry us was meant to arrive Abuja around 10 in the night, it was meant to go to Chad first according to what was booked. We only heard that the Paris flight had come by 6 o’clock in the evening, that is, the one that normally comes to Abuja. That, it is possible that the one we have booked on is not even an Abuja flight at all.
It was meant to go to Chad and then disembark us in Chad to try to connect another flight to come and that some people, it takes them a day or two to get that connection to return. I said, “wow! Actually that was a saving of some sort then” but this was how the schedule went.
This is the commitment to the assignment in terms of being at home, being at your point of duty and being where we need to be but I can assure that in a very short time, as many as would travel to the crusades around the world, there will air vehicles available.
Not just individual ones, we talk about Airbus conveying evangelism team and all of that.
– you’re here and I believe that something is here for you too.
