John 15:16 KJV

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

John 4:29,39 KJV

Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? [39] And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

Isaiah 66:7-8 KJV

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. [8] Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Galatians 4:19 KJV

My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Colossians 4:12 KJV

Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

This week, our exhortation is captioned No Church Grows Without a People on The Go Luk. 14:16-23

Luke 14:16-23 KJV

Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: [17] And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. [18] And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. [19] And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. [20] And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. [21] So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. [22] And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. [23] And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Monday | No Church Grows Without a People on the Go

  • Someone has to tell another “Come and see” to have new members added to the Church                                    – Jhn 1:40-42/45-49/ Jhn 4:29/39

John 1:40-42 KJV

One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. [41] He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. [42] And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

John 1:45-49 KJV

Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. [46] And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see. [47] Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! [48] Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. [49] Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

John 4:29,39 KJV

Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? [39] And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

  • In the same vein, every growing Church must be a praying Church – Ezk. 36:37/ Psa. 2:8/ Jam. 4:2

Ezekiel 36:37 KJV

Thus saith the Lord God ; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

Psalm 2:8 KJV

Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

James 4:2 KJV

Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

  • But it takes passion for souls to remain on the go, both in season and out of season – Jhn 2:17/  Jhn 4:32-36/ 2 Tim. 4:2

John 2:17 KJV

And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.

John 4:32-36 KJV

But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. [33] Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat? [34] Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. [35] Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. [36] And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

2 Timothy 4:2 KJV

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

Tuesday | No Church Grows Without a People on the Go

  • Gods’ house cannot be filled without His servants going out to compel people to come                              – Luk. 14:16-23/ Psa. 65:4

Psalm 65:4 KJV

Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

  • As the same time, no Church grows without praying to the God of increase to step in –Psa. 127:1-2/                1 Cor. 3:6

Psalm 127:1-2 KJV

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. [2] It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

1 Corinthians 3:6 KJV

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

  • But it takes not being ashamed of the gospel to remain on the go – Mak. 8:38/ Rom. 1:16/Heb. 13:13

Mark 8:38 KJV

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Romans 1:16 KJV

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Hebrews 13:13 KJV

Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Wednesday | No Church Grows Without a People on the Go

  • We must have to go preaching the gospel to the lost, if we must see souls saved – Mak. 16:15-16/ Rom. 10:14-17

Mark 16:15-16 KJV

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Romans 10:14-17 KJV

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? [15] And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! [16] But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? [17] So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

  • We cannot experience and sustain supernatural Church growth without fervently engaging the altar of prayer and fasting as a Church – Luk. 11:21-22/ Mat. 16:18/ Mat. 17:19-21

Luke 11:21-22 KJV

When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: [22] But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divideth his spoils.

Matthew 16:18 KJV

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 17:19-21 KJV

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out? [20] And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. [21] Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

  • But it takes dedication to keep engaging without looking back – Luk. 9:62/ 1 Cor. 9:16-17

Luke 9:62 KJV

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 9:16-17 KJV

For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! [17] For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

Thursday | No Church Grows Without a People on the Go

  • The sales of any product will stop where its marketing stops! – Mak. 5:18-21/Jn 4:29/39

Mark 5:18-21 KJV

And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him. [19] Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. [20] And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel. [21] And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

John 4:29,39 KJV

Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ? [39] And many of the Samaritans of that city believed on him for the saying of the woman, which testified, He told me all that ever I did.

  • We cannot experience supernatural Church growth, without engaging the Holy Spirit, the Lord of the harvest on the altar of prayer– Mat. 9:38/ Act. 4:29-33/ Act. 5:12-14

Matthew 9:38 KJV

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.

Acts 4:29-33 KJV

And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word, [30] By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus. [31] And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. [32] And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common. [33] And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

Acts 5:12-14 KJV

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. [13] And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. [14] And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.)

  • But it takes a genuine heart for God to keep going after souls – Rom. 8:35-38/ Act. 26:22

Romans 8:35-39 KJV

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? [36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. [37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, [39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Acts 26:22 KJV

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

Friday | No Church Grows Without a People on the Go

  • No product, the quality notwithstanding, sells without engaging relevant marketing strategies – 1 Cor. 9:20-22/ Dan. 12:3/ Act. 6:3-7

1 Corinthians 9:20-22 KJV

And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law; [21] To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. [22] To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Daniel 12:3 KJV

And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Acts 6:3-7 KJV

Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business. [4] But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. [5] And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch: [6] Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them. [7] And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

  • We cannot see supernatural Church growth without engaging the operation of the Reaper-Angels on the altar of prayer – Mat. 13:39/ Rev. 14:14-16/ Mat. 26:53

Matthew 13:39 KJV

The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Revelation 14:14-16 KJV

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. [15] And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. [16] And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Matthew 26:53 KJV

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

  • But going after the lost is a capital proof of our love for God, which in turn enthrones believers – Jhn 21:15-17/ Act. 26:22/ 2 Tim. 4:6-8

John 21:15-17 KJV

So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs. [16] He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep. [17] He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

Acts 26:22 KJV

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

2 Timothy 4:6-8 KJV

For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Saturday | No Church Grows Without a People on the Go

  • Aggressive marketing is key to making great sales – Rom. 9:1-3/ 1 Cor. 9:16-17/ Phi. 1:21

Romans 9:1-3 KJV

I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, [2] That I have great heaviness and continual sorrow in my heart. [3] For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh:

1 Corinthians 9:16-17 KJV

For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! [17] For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

Philippians 1:21 KJV

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

  • We must keep sowing the seed of the word as we reach out to the lost and watering the same by prayer, if we must continue to experience supernatural Church growth–Jn 15:16/Isa. 66:7-8/1 Cor. 3:6

John 15:16 KJV

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a man child. [8] Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

1 Corinthians 3:6 KJV

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

Psalm 55:17 KJV

Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.

Psalm 119:46,164 KJV

I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed. [164] Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

Jesus is Lord!
