TOPIC : INTRODUCTION TO THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM – THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Scripture : Ephesians 1: 17. That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter. We give thanks and praise to God Almighty for successful completion of the month of July! Indeed the Lord open up some dimension of truth from the scripture about the person and ministry of the Holy Spirit which I believe every one that applies those truth will surely have a testimony.
As we move on to the month of August, the Holy Ghost began to impress the need to explore more about the ministry of the Holy Spirit!
As we know the Holy Spirit has several ministries (Isa.11:2) and one of them is called wisdom the wining strategy for the kingdom Stars!
We understand from scripture that it takes more than just skill to be successful! It takes deployment of skills plus empowerment of the of the Holy Spirit. And one of the dimensions of empowerment of the Holy Spirit is strategy because the Holy Spirit is also called the extra ordinary strategist! This extra ordinary strategist gives strategy to win in life.
This strategy is called wisdom, a dimension of the Holy Spirit is refers to as the spirit of wisdom(Deut.34;9).
Isaiah 11: 2. And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
This spirit of wisdom is required for leadership:
Proverbs 8: 15. By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. 16. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.
You will agree with me that battles are won on the strength of strategy and that is wisdom!
That was how David was empowered to fight and in his life time he fought sixty six battles and loss none! Joshua fought against against five Kings with their armies and defeated them all(Josh.10:5-11) on the strength of wisdom. Abraham won the battle against four nation’s and rescue Lot his nephew (Gen.14;14-18) because he possessed this Spirit called wisdom.
Beloved, your destiny is at mercy of the level of the Spirit wisdom that is at work in your life.
Infact, many of us are stuck right now because of lack of this Spirit called wisdom;
Ecclesiastes 10: 15. The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city.
Observed the clause, “they know not how” ! So when you should be flying and you not because you don’t know how to and then you are stuck.
If however you are in possession of wisdom keys then you can fly. This is why the word of God counsel us to get wisdom by all means:
Proverbs 4: 7. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
The principal thing to get in life is wisdom because it shows you how to get anything done! The absence of wisdom means stagnation!
The much regretted is that most people neglect the Holy Spirit who is the chief sponsor of this wisdom. Beloved wisdom is a spirit that is given by the Holy Spirit.

Observed from the above scripture the clause “may give unto you the spirit of wisdom”! You will notice that this Spirit of wisdom is given! Who is the giver?
The Holy Spirit! And if there is a giver there must be reciever. And the receiver is you and I.
Therefore join me on this platform, Moment of Daily Encounter as we explore the theme THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM THE KEY TO VICTORY, all through the month of August. We trust the Holy Spirit to impart our hearts with the spirit of wisdom as we learn at the feet of the master Jesus, you will be richly blessed as we journey through the Bible while looking at the monarch of the universe to deliver each day wisdom capsule.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real. The decision of where to spend eternity begins now. Choose this day whom you will serve.
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Father, help me position my heart so as to receive at your feet all that you have for me in the month of August in the name of Jesus.
Prophetic Declaration:
– I prophesy an end has come to stagnation in your life as the Holy Spirit will be pouring out on you the spirit of wisdom in the name of Jesus
– In this month of August you, God will do a new thing in your life in the name of Jesus.
Assignment : Set your heart to receive this ministry of the Holy Spirit by receiving the Spirit of wisdom.
