TOPIC: HOW TO BE BLESSED BY THE TREASURES IN MAN
Scripture; Ephesians 4: 8. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! Man is the crown of God’s creation and also the most important entity amongst God’s creation because of the treasure God deposited in man. Previously, we have looked at some of this treasure.
Today, we shall be looking at how to be blessed by this wonderful treasures that is inherent in man.
From our anchor scripture (Eph.4:8), we discovered that when Jesus died and rose again, He gave gifts to men! What exactly was this gifts that Jesus gave to men? A close look at verse eleven of Ephesians in another translation will give us a better understanding;;
Ephesians 4:11 (NLT) Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers.
Now from this scripture, we could see five categories of men! The scripture also reveals to us the essence of such gifts in (Eph.4: 13&14) that we might be fully matured into the fullness of Christ. We can therefore say the gifts God gave to men are gifts of MEN!
This implies that when Jesus ascended into heaven, He gave the gifts of men to us because in this men are treasures! If we must therfore recieve the treasures in any man, that man must be received as a gift sent by God. Men are gifts of God that could be sent.
The day you understand that men sent into your life are gifts that is when you will start enjoying the treasure they carried. In many places, they don’t celebrate the gift of God as such, until the demise of that individuals.
After the death of a man you will see several poems and songs composed to eulogized the late a-z person! Why such celebrations coming death?
Beloved, recieve that man sent into your life per time as a gift, then what the man has to offer will benefit your life. Consider that your pastor as a gift sent to you from God that is the only way to receive his ministry.
Consider the man that is dishing out this work to you on daily basis as a gift from God to you that is how to receive of my ministry. There are those who are waiting for God to send help when the help arrive they rejected and kept on disturbing heaven!
That was the story of Israelites, they were busy waiting for Messiah, but when the Messiah finally shows up they rejected Him because He does not have the biceps and masculine posture that befit their ideas of supposed Messiah.
The rejection was so strong that Jesus wept:
Luke 19: 41. And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it.
Beloved, the kind of emotional trauma that goes with being rejected is a great one! This is why you should not treat anyone with rejection. Don’t make that person around you feel as if he is not needed. Rather let everyone that comes around you feel better than they met you.
People shouldn’t meet you and leave with mind of been rejected. The world is full of so many people battling with rejection, don’t increase the tally by the way you are treating the one sent to you.
Please understand that it is not only pastor, apostle, prophet and evangelist that are sent! There are other men who are not into pulpilt ministry yet they are sent by God! How do I mean? Your spouse is your number sent person into your life.
This explains why how you treat your spouse could close your door or keep it open! That your hired servant could be sent by God. That explains why when God’s sent man enters into your organization every thing turned around on a positive note.
In the same vein, Satan could send someone into your life in form of a spouse or friends. It could as well send men into your organization/company and every thing will begin to nosedive on a negative trend. It therefore call for believer to be careful of the choice of life partner or hiring any one. Don’t take things for granted or else you will be grounded.
Probably you are here today feeling rejected because the one you were sent to did not accept you!
Oh you felt reduce because the most important person in your life shows you rejection! I have a good news for you, the days of rejection are over! The Lord has seen how rejected you are and He is set to turn the story around for you.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real. The decision of where to spend eternity is best made now. Give Jesus a space in your life today.
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Father help me to discern and recieve the gift of men sent into my life in the name of Jesus.
Prophetic Declaration
– I prophesy that man that you needed for a change of story is coming your way this season in the name of Jesus.
– For everyone that is feeling rejected because the way you were treated by the people you were sent to, your time of remembrance has come because heaven has opened your book of remembrance.
Assignment: Check how you treat people around you, you might just be playing with the man that carries the answer to your prayers
