TOPIC : FEATURES OF THE BLESSING
Scripture :Proverbs 10: 22. The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! The Blessing which is also called the promise of the Spirit has certain features that distinguish it from others! Today we shall consider some of the features that makes the blessing a spiritual force to reckon with.
What are the features of the blessing?
1. The blessing is magnetic in nature (Gen.12:1-3, 24:1): The blessing is one singular force that controls every other aspects of human existence. It is not limited to materials or financial resources! Infact, it is the force that bring every other things into your life. When it landed on Abraham, every other things follow suit.
This was established yesterday that when the blessing is upon your life attract men, circumstances and opportunities.
Beloved you can’t be blessed and be empty handed. You can’t be blessed and be barren! You can’t be blessed and one curse is still having it’s way in your life because the blessing is the cure to curses.
2. The blessing is what makes rich (Prov.10:22): You are not truly rich until the blessing land on you! I’m aware our society measure how blessed a man is based on the material acquisition!
So a man with plenty money is regarded as a blessed man. Please Understand that, it is the blessing of the Lord that guarantee true riches. It is what money cannot buy!
True riches is far above what money can buy! This is the force that makes Whatsoever you do prosper! Where others failed you will succeed there, what kill others you survive it! When you see such know for sure that the blessing is on you.
3. The blessing is sorrow free :(Prov10:22)
When the devil gives you a blessing a lot of sorrows goes with it!
Go and find out, so many person who collected wealth from the devil through occultism means never leave to enjoy it. In our time, it has even been re-branded with a new name Yahoo Yahoo!, yahoo plus etc. And If you know anyone that is sorrow free amongst men with blood money please let me know. Many of them are running mad, some cannot sleep in the night it must be in a night club just to keep awake.
Some are eating excreta, some drink urine, and all manners of rituals etc! You will agree with me it is living in bondage! This is because when Satan gives you a blessing in disguise it promises pleasure and hide the pains that follows it, it promises bliss and hid the sorrows and calamity that follows etc . But the blessing of God is sorrow free, it is peaceful, no headache or heart attack, no calamity
However, to enjoy the blessing, one must be a student of vision. Vision is the ladder that one can safely climb to arrive in the land of the blessing.
When God promised to bless Abraham in Gen.12:2-3,
Genesis 12: 2. And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Abraham did not walk in the blessing until God has to help him a little to catch a picture of the blessing:
Genesis 13: 14. And the LORD said unto Abram, after that Lot was separated from him, Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: 15. For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed for ever.
So, Abraham has to see it first before God deliver it to him. God said as far as your eyes could see! Beloved, what can you see? That is the limit to what you can have
Remember this : Heaven is real and hell is real! If Jesus comes now are you ready? Give your heart to Jesus today.
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today,
– Father, I receive grace to press for the blessing until my life becomes a channel for the distribution of the blessing in Jesus name.
Prophetic Declaration:
– I prophesy the release of the blessing that makes men rich upon your life in the name of Jesus!
– Wherever you have been rejected before, as the blessing comes upon you today you shall be accepted
– Receive a garment of favour this season by the force of the blessing in Jesus mighty name.
