TOPIC: DEALING WITH ENEMY OF YOUR BLESSING
Scripture: Genesis 9: 1. And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! The Blessing will have been considering has enemies and the number one enemy of blessing is lack of vision! Vision is ability to get the picture of your desire ends in your mind. So when a man lack it , the blessing might be starring at you yet ignore it.
Beloved, there is no man who can go higher than what he can envision with the eyes of his mind. I have done high jump before and my experience is that before jumping over any height, the first part of me that jumps is my mind.
If I can jump over the bar in my mind, then it is a done deal. If however I cannot jump over in the eyes of my mind, then it is always a failure in reality. So the mind therefore is where the victory or the failure happens. So to be blessed begins in your mind.
God understands that if you can have clear vision in your mind it is a done deal, so when He approached Jeremiah, the question God asked was “what are you seeing”:
Jeremiah 1: 11. Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.
Beloved, what can you picture with the eyes of your mind determines if you will be ultimately be blessed, rise or fall in life, because God is committed in bringing to pass what you can see. (Jer.1:11);
Jeremiah 1: 12. Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it
Therefore, the fight against things that becloud your mind that will not permit you to see correctly is a must do.
What are the factors that can prevent a man from seeing correctly?
1. Time: Although time was created for man because God dwells in eternity. However man has allowed this beautiful creature called time to regulate their lives rather than allowing God the creator to be sole determinants of the outcome of their lives.
Beloved, If all that you are seeing is your time, that is fast running out, you may never see correctly. And that will affect your vision of what God wants to do in your life. Rather see beyond time that us fast running out, into God’s eternal planned for you! See a glorious destiny awaits tomorrow.
2. Age; Your age has a voice informing you of how long you have existed on earth in comparison with what you have achieved! In many occasions, the voice of age is not on my side could becloud your mind such that the blessing of God towards you could not be seen.
Do you know it was when Abraham shifted his eyes from the promise of God to his age, worry set in?
Any time you shift from the prophecy that has gone forth over your head, worries, depression begins to set in! Say no to it this year. Here is what Abraham said :
Genesis 15: 2. And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?
You will notice that Abraham kept seeing himself as childless as long as his eyes were on his age and time that is fast running out!
But the day Abraham shifted his eyes from his age and time and focused on God, doubt disappeared, faith sprang up in him:
Romans 4: 19. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: 20. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Similarly, when Sarah focus on her age, here is what she said :
Genesis 18: 12. Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
Is that your condition also? Are battling with a voice of the devil telling you are too old to be blessed? Who told you, you are too old to become a mother?
Could it be that you are listening to the voice of strangers like Adam and Eve and their destiny crashed out of Eden( Gen.3:8) ?
Who told you you are too old to fulfill purpose? The voice of the stranger is that which comes to opposed what God has told you. It is that voice of deception that decieves you away from God.
Noah was already 600 years old(Gen.7:6) when he began to fulfill destiny. The Bible said:
Genesis 9: 1. And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth.
Beloved, you are not too old to be blessed! You are not too old to fulfill destiny! Only see what have said concerning you and believe it.
Remember this : Heaven is real, and hell is real. The preparation for eternity begins now. Make Jesus the Lord of your life today.
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today
– Father, help me to get rid of distracting voices so I can see well in the name of Jesus.
Prophetic Declaration;
– I prophesy a change of story for you this season in the name of Jesus.
– Receive grace to see correctly in the name of Jesus.
Assignment: Check your life if you are beginning to develop high blood pressure because of time is running out, age is not on my side factor and stop it from today.
