In 2011, in the company of my spiritual father and dear senior colleague was attending to a brother who had been besiege by the devil and his demons.
It got to a point, that different demons were speaking through him and each were cast out.
While still ministering to him, he ran mad right there in the church.
We locked all the doors, glory to God, he got healed then a funny bend, the last demon was begging us not send him out because the brother promised to marry her.
The demon said he was the spirit from his 4th generation, that the brother came to meet him begged to have sex with a lady he was leaving in.
The brother vowed never to prosper if he had sex with her and refused to marry her.
So, I said whosoever is in Christ is a new creature, the demon said was he not a Christian when they were having sex.
As the demon was doing his nonsense, I remembered Colossians 2:14-15 then I started speaking, he quickly tried to kill that brother.
Thank God for the wisdom of fathers, they removed everything that he wanted to use to harm the brother.
That event made me to understand what happened in Mark 5.
Finally, the yeye demon ran out breaking through the windows.
The brother became normal and was surprised to find his clothes torn and all the injury on his body.
Asking him about the lady in question, he told us how he went fornicating with her and pretending to repent.
Quoting 1 John 2:1-2 to sin is pure stupidity, we weren’t commanded to sin there, it’s if peradventure we mistakenly sin not willful sinning.
We don’t play into the hand of the devil leaving sinful lifestyle and expecting the devil not to build stronghold around such life.
Few weeks ago, I was in the neighbourhood, the brother had prospered and doing great, he took me in his car.
God changed his story.
Last November, I needed to do something in the city so I got a cab to take me.
As I entered the car, he had not drove for 5mins, the demon in the man started manifesting.
The demon said why did you carry our enemy, I won’t get out until I kill you.
I thought it was from the radio until he wanted to do one kain bad play by driving into the ditch then I decree, stop in the name of Jesus.
He had locked the door, the AC was on while he was displaying, thank God for His power.
After the whole drama, he was restored.
He had a Lord krisna puja 999 incense in his car to wade off demons.
I told him how can you be a professed Christian and still having such nonsense in your car and house.
What sort of Christianity is that?
Thank God for His mercy, he rededicate his life to Jesus that very day.
Shun every appearance of evil, stay within the convene of the scripture 1 Cor 10:23.
Christianity is a call to abandon the world for Christ, here is how great Apostle Paul put it..’
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Gal 2:20.
Then in Hebrew 6:1
Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.
We are forever triumphant don’t lose your authority romancing the devil.
Faith delivers result daily because faith keeps all things alive.
Jesus is forever enough for us.
