THANKSGIVING IS THE KINGDOM’S SECRET FOR MULTIPLICATION.

OUR EFFORTS AND OUR ENGAGEMENTS ARE MULTIPLIED BY THANKSGIVING.

GOD DOES NOT MULTIPLY HIS CHURCH WITHOUT GLORIFYING HIS SAINTS.

WHATEVER WE MAY SEE AT THE BEGINNING OR EXPERIENCE IN THE MIDDLE CAN NOT BE COMPARED TO GOD’S AGENDA AT THE END

WE MUST REMAIN STEADFAST IN THE LABOR OF THE KINGDOM TO BE FOUND FIT FOR THE DECORATION OF THIS SEASON.

– Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr On ‘AT THE END IT SHALL SPEAK’ at Covenant Hour of Prayer (ChoP) LFC Worldwide

Our line of exhortation which we have been looking at since the week began has been ‘At the end it shall speak’ and this is drawn from Habakkuk 2:1-3. This scripture paints to us a clear picture of the pattern of God’s operation, that whenever God declares a thing, it speaks at the end.

So the ending point is the speaking point. That means that the ending point is the manifesting point. The ending point is the delivery point. Whatever we may see at the beginning or experience in the middle cannot be compared to the end because in the agenda of God, at the end, it shall speak. But we discovered that for anything to speak, there are things to do and there are responsibilities to take. There are positions to assume.

The question is, What must we be doing as we drive towards the end? We’ll look at a very few things this morning and I trust that the Holy Ghost will grant us light and understanding.

We must keep doing what we are asked to do until the end.
What does that mean? That means stay the course. Whatever actions have been commanded, we stay engaging with those actions all the way to the end. Matthew 24:45-47. Acts 26:22. So it means therefore that when it comes to our engagement with God, that speaking point must meet us engaging in whatever he has commanded.

We must keep engaging with whatever he has commanded. If He says, “At the end, it shall speak”, then that end must meet us engaging, it must meet us active. 2nd Timothy 4:6-8. It is about our continuity, our consistency, our steadfastness. We must remain pressing and engaging, all the way to the end. This is so important and so vital. That means that we cannot afford to let go at this moment. Luke 9:62. For you and I to be found fit for the decoration of this season, God makes it very clear, we must keep pressing, we must keep engaging, we must remain steadfast, we must remain unmovable, we must keep abounding in the labor of the Kingdom because indeed, there is a return. 1st Corinthians 15:58.

So what must I do at the end? I must keep doing what He has asked us to do. What has He asked us to do? He has asked us to pray. So I must keep praying. What has He asked us to do? He has asked us to go. So I must keep going. What has He asked us to do? He has asked us to compel them to come.

So I must keep compelling. What has He asked us to do? He has asked us to bring them. So I must keep bringing them. What has He asked us to do? He has asked us to establish them. So I must keep establishing them.

Whatever He has asked us to do, we must keep on doing. That means that the end does not decorate those who are watching, it decorates those who are doing. Matthew 24:46. It’s also important to understand that we must keep acknowledging God, this is also what we must do, keep acknowledging God, the source of the Word that grows the Church.

There is no doubt from the scriptures that what grows the Church is the Word of God. Acts 6:7. Acts 13:44. Acts 19:20. How did the Word prevail? Almost the whole of Asia heard the Word of God within 2 years. These are all the growing effects of the Word but where does the Word come from? Psalms 68:11. There is no time we gather as a Church that the Word is not present. In our Sunday services, the Word is available. In our Covenant Hour of Prayer, the Word is available.

At our midweek services, the Word is available. At our WSF (Winners Satellite Fellowship) meetings, the word is available.

How has this inexhaustible Word been coming from an inexhaustible source? For more than 40 years, the Word has not run dry. It has been flowing unabated…and for that Word that grows the Church to keep flowing, we must keep acknowledging the source. What does that mean? As we are thanking, God keeps opening the tap of the Word and making it flow greater. You see, the flow of the tap is in the grease. As we keep acknowledging Him, He keeps opening it wider, as He opens it wider, it keeps flowing greater. As it keeps flowing greater, the Church keeps growing bigger.

This is so important so we must keep acknowledging Him that He is the source of the Word that grows the Church.

And then Finally, we must give thanks onto God as He multiplies His flocks. Thanksgiving is the Kingdom’s secret for multiplication. Whatever must be multiplied is multiplied by thanksgiving. Jeremiah 30:19. All of our effort and our engagement is multiplied by thanksgiving. When you and I complain, rather than seeing multiplication, we suffer reduction.

But when we begin to appreciate and thank God, we begin to enjoy multiplication. There is supernatural multiplication. God steps in and we begin to see a multiplication of our results. So the charge this morning is that no matter what you have seen, in this six and a half weeks plus, we are about concluding in this 7th week, start thanking God. As you are thanking Him, He begins multiplying. I’ve shared this experience before, some time ago, this was last year, we went for outreach on a Saturday and that day, having gone to a particular location. You know we had ministered in that location and so forth and particularly in the last place that we went to, there were not so many people saved. Physically, everybody was…myself particularly I was worn out, tired and just a few people gave their lives to Christ and we returned back. We were to hold a foundation class for the converts that morning. We returned back here and we began to give thanks to God, we began to appreciate God. We began to celebrate God and before we knew it we got information that after leaving, after the outreach had concluded, while they were just trying to sort out the foundation class, people started gathering from everywhere, to the point that the people who came for foundation class were many times more than the people who got saved. Not the next day, same day. As we were thanking God, He was multiplying. They came to foundation class, then gave their lives to Christ and concluded foundation class. All of them settled down there, remained there, just by the secret of thanksgiving. So the charge to us is simple. Oh, you have gone out, maybe all these weeks, one person responded. Thank God for the one, it would surprise you what is connected to thanking God for that one. As you are thanking Him for one, He begins to multiply…and God does not multiply His Church without glorifying His saints. That means, in the multiplication is our glorification. You can’t remain at the same level as you are thanking Him. Get set, your level is changing.
