Apostle Johnson Suleman is the General Overseer and Senior Pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International, an assembly with her headquarters in Auchi, Edo state, Nigeria. He was born in the same state and spent the early stages of his life there. Just few days after he was born, some prophets came to the place of his birth from Warri with a message from God.
As they arrived, his parents desired to know what the message was and as soon as it was relayed to them that he will become a prophet who would minister in God’s presence, they refused listening to further words spoken because they were Muslims. His parents didn’t see the possibility of their son leaving their religion.
As we all know that callings and divine elections are basically pure products of predestination, which are conceived before the foundations of the world. They are hatched into reality when there is a discovery of it by the called. As Apostle began to grow, his parents noticed strange things in the way he did things. He had and still has a spot for the things of God even while he was still a Muslim but knew he was not on the right and destined path.
He had his secondary school education in Auchi; his hometown where he encountered CHRIST but pressures mounted on him resulted in a withdrawal for a little while. But returned to Benin where he finally reconnected with destiny. He got engaged with other brethren of the fold he was and they went on evangelism and prayers.
On June 20, 1994, he had a revelation that the image of the globe was handed over to him with a passage in the Bible written on it (Acts 10:38). Before he had this encounter, he had read through the scriptures for good three times due to his thirst for the things of God but hadn’t given attention to that particular verse.
After recovering from that experience, he checked out what the verse reveals which reads, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power; who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil, for God was with him.” He then understood the mandate given to him by God to take the Gospel around the world with a Power Ministry.
Before starting his Ministry, he joined a Church in 1998 and first worked as an Assistant Pastor in the assembly named; Armor of God Church in Lagos. But after his encounter, he then created Omega Fire Ministries in the year 2004 and still the Senior Pastor till date.
