Just within 100 days in office, Dr Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has been able to:
1. Cleared over 200,000 passports backlog he met in office ✅
2. Colloborated with the Private Sector to raise over N500m fines owed by over 4,000 of our inmates in order to set them free, thus, decongested our Correctional Centers ✅
3. Introduced technology in the security of our borders. ✅
4. Working assiduously to improve the welfare of our paramilitary ✅
5. Automation of Nigeria’s passport application, a process which is 99 per cent completed. ✅
6. Introduced E- gate in our international airports, reducing physical contacts with Immigration officers ✅
7. Reduced the whole process of passport processing to about two weeks ✅
Indeed, Dr Olubumi Tunji-Ojo has demonstrated that the ministry of interior is not just about declaring public holidays, he has set the pace in the ministry so high.
