TOPIC: INTRODUCTION TO THE BELIEVER’S ADVANTAGE
Scripture: Esther 2: 16. So Esther was taken unto king Ahasuerus into his house royal in the tenth month, which is the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign. 17. And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins; so that he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! We give thanks and praise to God Almighty for opening our understanding to how to prosper in hard times all through the month of September. You are most welcome to the month of October.
We understand from the scriptures that God has promised us a life of total victory over all battles/challenges that may comes our way! God does not want His children to live a miserable life!
A life of pains and frustration as results of the challenges of life that may comes our way! Hence God has made adequate provision for us.
This provision is in what some times look like unfair treatment that provided the believers an advantage that guarantees speed even if the believers comes late in life he/she can still catch up. This advantageous provision is called favour!
Favour is grace that terminate disgrace, the garment that put an end to shame and reproach in the life of any man. It is the cure to empty handedness.
Hence God said:
Exodus 3: 21. And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:
Beloved, to go through life empty handed is not part of God’s plan for your life.
To go through life struggling to survive is not part of God’s program for your life. Infact, if all you have in life is gotten by your labour then it is certain that favour is absent in your life.
Hence, God bring in this advantage that can be wear like someone will wear a clothe, and immediately you put on such clothes called favour you begins to enjoy victory over what seems weighs other than, unlimited provision, the gifts of men, unsual opportunities and open doors just to mention a few an end has come to profitless toiling.
All through the scriptures no man attained greatness alone without this accompanying element called favour!
Noah obtained favour(Gen.1:8)
Abraham obtained favour
Isaac and Jacob obtained favour
Joseph obtained favour;
Genesis 39: 21. But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
Moses obtained favour(Exo.2:6)
Samuel found favour:
1 Samuel 2: 26. And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men.
David obtained favour:
1 Samuel 16: 22. And Saul sent to Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before me; for he hath found favour in my sight.
And from our anchor scripture (Esther 2:16-17); we discovered that Esther began to enjoy this advantage above other ladies in the tenth month!

And here we are in the tenth month of the year 2023. The Holy Ghost began to impress it into my heart to explore this believer’s advantage.
Without favour life is tough! But with favour you are armed to handle challenges such as rejection, lack of access and open doors that make life frustrating and bitter.
Therefore Join me this month of October, on the platform of ‘Moment of Daily Encounter’ as we journey through the Bible while looking at the Monarch of the universe for insight as we explore FAVOUR THE BELIEVER’S ADVANTAGE all through the month of October. You will be richly blessed as you come along.
Remember this; Heaven is real and hell is real! The decision of where to spend eternity is best made now. Where do you want to spend eternity?
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Lord, open me up to this believer’s advantage called favour.
Prophetic Declaration:
– I declare upon your life, it is your season to be favoured.
– May the garment of favour clothe you this season in the name of Jesus.
-This month of October shall favour you in the name of Jesus
