TOPIC: DIVINE ENCOUNTERS – PATHWAY TO THE BLESSING
Scripture: Exodus 3: 3. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! In continuation of pathways to the blessing, We have examine so far salvation, obedience, principles and covenants as pathway to the blessing. One more pathway to the blessing is the pathway of Divine encounters!
What is a Divine encounter?
Divine Encounter is a supernatural experiences that bring reality to us. Encounters bring conviction!
No man doubt what he can see or hear. In fact, many still doubt the reality of God today because their lives lack encounters:
1 John 1: 1. That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
Encounters are powerful avenue of recieving the blessing! This is because no encounter leaves you the same way it met you. Encounter could come through hearing the word of God, it could be through dreams, trance or angelic encounter. To tell you how important encounter is; the devil is also giving men encounter!
This explains why some person could wake up to do some terrible and abnormal things as directed by the devil. However, we must be very careful about encounters because many have been decieved by their encounter with demonic being that present itself as angel of God.
The rule therefore is every encounter must be subjected to scriptural scrutiny for relevance and interpretation. Don’t do a thing because an angel show it to you, rather do it because it is backed up by the word of God.
How does encounter becomes a pathway to the blessing?
1. It is by delivery your assignment and in your assignment lies your consignment!
Exodus 3: 3. And Moses 5said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. 4.And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
Moses was a shepherd taking care of his father in-law flocks when he had his own encounter! That same day his assignments change from leading flocks to leading human. That same day, Moses the wonderers becomes Moses the wonder!
Beloved, You are not meant to do everything every body is doing! Rather there is an assignment for your life! It is your assignment that delivers your consignment. Your greatness is hidden in your assignment.
If the world must mind you then you must mind your assignment. Your strength, riches, and honour are inherent in your assignment. Your assignment means where Divinity has assigned for you on earth, and it can only be discovered in the place of encounter.
2. Your encounter is what birth vision! Vision for living is the unveiling of God’s purpose for a man on earth! And it is easy to catch it in the place of encounter! Your vision for life determine if you will be blessed or not!
No man becomes richer than his vision. How wealthy you turn out to be is tied to the discovery and the pursuit of your vision.
How do you get Divine encounter?
1. Hunger and thirst for the living God;
Psalm 42: 1. As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. 2. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
Most encounters in the scriptures are direct response to the cry and yearning of a soul that is longing and thirsty after God. And when you encounter God, your vision for life that guarantees your blessing will be delivered.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real! The decision to spend eternity with God is yours to decide, make hay while the sunshine!
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Father take me to the place of intimacy with you that birth encounter in the name of Jesus.
Prophetic Declaration ;
– I declare you are released into your inheritance in God in the name of Jesus.
– You are delivered from every distraction that is hindering you from stepping into your Divine inheritance in the name of Jesus.
Assignment: Check your intimacy with Jesus, if it is not cordial then do the needful today
